You can create analyses without writing Python code. Instead of using python via crandas, the platform allows you to build and run analyses directly through the interface.
Create a no-code analysis
-
Go to Analysis in the main menu.
-
Click Create No-Code Analysis.
-
Choose the type of analysis you want to create.
-
Fill in the required inputs for that analysis (see below).
-
Run it in the Design environment (with dummy data) immediately or submit for approval to run on Production data.
This feature is available for all plans but only users with the "Analyst role" can create and run no-code analysis.
Analysis types
You can create four types of analyses:
| Type | Description | Required inputs | Resuls |
| Membership | Checks if a specific value exists in a column or table. | Data source, column, search value. (Search is case-sensitive.) | ✅ Green check if found, ❌ red cross if not. |
| Table overlap | Finds overlapping rows between two tables by comparing a column in each. | Two data sources and their respective columns. | Visual overlap diagram with counts. |
| Describe | Summarizes the contents of a table’s columns. | Data source and columns. | Column name, count, mean, standard deviation. |
| Aggregated statistics | Groups rows by a column and calculates stats for each group. | Data source, group-by column, statistic (count, mean, or sum), statistic column. | Results graph. |
Running analyses in the design environment
Use the design environment to test your analysis immediately with dummy data.
To run and save your analysis:
-
Click Run Analysis to execute with dummy data.
-
Review the results in the output view.
-
To save it, click Save analysis and give your analysis a name.
-
Saved analyses appear in the Analysis Overview and are visible to other analysts.
- You can export the results in .pdf or .csv format for sharing or further processing.
Running analyses in the authorized environment
When you’re ready to run on production or sensitive data, you must follow the approval flow.
Steps:
-
Complete all input fields on the Create Analysis page.
-
Proceed to Add Approval Information.
-
Enter a name and optional description.
-
(Optional) Add additional analysts who can run the analysis after approval.
-
Click Submit for Approval.
Once all approvers approve the analysis, you can execute it on production data and view results directly in the platform. You only need to upload your analyst key once per session to run an analysis. The key is stored securely for the duration of your session. If you start a new session, you’ll be prompted to provide your analyst key again to view or run analyses. Similarly to the design environment, you can export the results in .pdf or .csv format for sharing or further processing.
For approvers: reviewing and approving analyses
When an analysis is submitted for approval:
-
You’ll receive an email notification.
-
Open the Approval Overview to view the analysis details.
-
Review the summary and code of the no-code analysis.
-
Approve it using the standard approval process.
