As an approver, it is your role to authorize an analyst to run a particular script on data that was imported to the engine. This article guides you through these steps.
Note: Approvers should be able to inspect a crandas script, and recognize the risks that may be involved in authorizing such a script for production data. For more information on how to recognize those risks, please inspect our guide for approvers in the crandas documentation.
When an analyst has requested approval for a particular recording, you should receive an email:
1. Click 'Start approval' and log-in to the platform to start approving your analysis.
2. Click 'Start approval'.
3. Scroll through the analysis script, and verify that the information it discloses adheres to the collaboration agreements. Validate if the analysts that are mentioned may indeed run the given analysis. Also, go through the disclosure checklist to prevent unintended disclosure of information. When you want to approve the analysis, click 'Approve'.
4. Click the checkmark, and upload your private key to approve the analysis.
5. When there are multiple approvers, make sure that each of them has approved the analysis for the analyst to be able to run it.
